So did a legion of players and they took those songs and improved them...made them more powerful and dynamic
Very few bands never cover and these bluesmen
From my home ground BTW....they got inspired or lifted from someone too

You’re not that alone here. Was listening to some Warren Z just the other night; as well as Elvis C., Quicksilver and a bit of Golden Earring thrown in for good measure. Dire Straits did some good tunes to end the evening but you can’t go wrong with some Willy or Asleep at the Wheel.
Man, what a great list. I listen to all that stuff and play much of it on my guitar. Yet The Beatles are still my favorite.
