Many, many moons ago, they played my hometown. they got snowed in, so the *next* night, they did another show at the same bar - free to whoever could show up. Both shows were top-notch.
And yes, it was smoky bar-room, in the basement of a building that was a little dilapidated in one of the more run-down sections of town. Perfect venue.
Lots of bourbon, scotch, and beer being consumed, but only one at time. :-)
