God's love is not false and the more one meditates upon it the greater love one has for his neighbors. And God's love leads one to an understanding of the sovereign God who says "I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and compassion upon whom I will have compassion".
For He knows we were created out of the dust and to dust return. Why He should have such compassion to send His only Son to die in the place of folks like us was answered by the Apostle John. When John said "God is Love".
As for His sovereignty, whether one believes or not, that belief will out before His throne. Either to joy or to great loss.
Seems a little odd to start from the premise that we’re going to support a Constitution that guarantees freedom of religion, and then say “You only get two choices”.
