Limited knowledge is acknowledged. The response to that is what is significant.

Might be construed as a DIFFERENT creationist idea. Believe me, it's happened to me before.

"I believe in intelligent design."
"Oh, so you think the world is 6000 years old."

UH, no.

Not every species is represented equally in the fossil record anymore than every species is equally abundant at any given time. There are far more rats than people on earth today and far more people than elephants. If one were to examine the fossil record for today several million years in the future, you would see lots of human fossils and probably no elephants.

Back during man’s early genesis, there were very few humanoid individuals of any “species” roaming the earth, hence few fossils to retrieve - but we have enough to give us a very rough idea of what was going on. Besides, back then, the average humanoid was rather small in build and more likely the prey of some larger creature who ripped apart the carcass. And until the time of Neanderthals, we have found no record of formal burials.

The naturalist, evolutionary scientist says, “Did you know that hydrogen is a colorless, odorless gas, which, if given enough time, turns into people.” And he has the credentials to back it up!

I am not a bible scholar, just a believer. I am just writing my belief.

Gen 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”

The “beginning” is when everything started. I believe this is the start of what we call time. It was based on his point of reference, not ours.

... but we have enough to give us a very rough idea of what was going on.

The real truth is that you have enough pieces of bones of something to allow you to reach whatever preconceived conclusion you want.

In 10 years nobody will believe in evolution and the Bible will still be alive.

Oh, some will still believe in evolution or some form of it. Men suppress the truth about God and God's creation and always will short of heaven; it is a given according to Romans 1.

The Scriptures have been preserved thus far by God despite book burnings (bible burnings), bannings and persecutions. I expect God will continue to preserve His word as He says "So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it."

You got me all wrong. I personally would like to see a new Gilded Age. I'm an admirer of the great industrialists of the late 19th Century. I think they were on the right track, and what they did created more wealth for everybody than any government can dream of. I used the term Robber Barons as a term of familiarity. You are right, I shouldn't of, but I felt more people would know who I was talking about with that term than late 19th century industrialists.

My point is that Darwinism was used to promote some good here in the United States. And it was also used for evil purposes in Europe. Darwinism itself as a construct in social policy, in how individuals react to each other, is neutral in regards to good and evil. Americans used it to great a great thriving economy, while Europeans used it to create murder. I guess the difference is in the mindset of Americans compared to Europeans.

Jesus’ genealogy, as well as genealogy of many others, goes back to Adam. Was Adam a parable or metaphor?

Darwinism is used here to promote abortion (eliminating the weeds of society) and Marxism so your theory falls short on all accounts. I would be interested in one thing it has been used to promote which is not enlarging government or eliminating God from America.

All I am saying is the UFO stuff out there is prime ground for communist propaganda targetting youths narurally fascinated by the idea.

I am not pushing Space Ball propaganda when I say this:
God said to Jews that they will multiply like Stars in the sky.

It is a promise. I would spurn and scoff at aliens who did not believe in God, is all. But people want to be impressed by little green pedophiles showing off and mocking our industrial hard work.

“NOT on ridiculously authoratative assertions based upon a pseudo-scientific theory that becomes ever more frayed as the intricacies of life become more known.”

Well that’s where we part company, FRiend. It’s neither pseudo nor frayed however much you wish it be so. Have a great day.

Darwinism is anti freedom, as in you did not build that.

It basically says you cannot create nor fashion someone better than yourself, you have to follow the law of darwin and not that of God to clone someone. It is horrible.

If there is no intelligence in nature, then how did intelligence “evolve”? The only answer that Mr. Nye seemed to have for challenges like these is, “That is a great mystery.”

OK, I'll bite. Whose version of creation is correct? The Jew's, Hindi, or Erich von Däniken's.

No need to restrict knowledge to science. But I think the point was that there is a limit to knowledge, including scientific knowledge, and that is why you don’t know things. Or is there something else going on?
