Whatever happened to simply waiting, or getting backup and communicating?

I mean, if we’re going to talk about cops going home safe at night as being the most important part of their jobs, isn’t negotiation safer than kicking in doors, throwing grenades, shooting dogs and blowing away anyone who twitches?

You and I would think that.

Whatever happened to talking people out?

The FOP teaches it's members to properly dress in full battle gear; black ninja suits, body armor, and gladiator helmet, when performing a home invasion of any citizen. Proper dress is so important to any interactions with the citizens. Additionally they must practice to be able so shoot any pet of any size that is on or near the premises.
They also remind all members that SCOTUS has officially ruled there is no requirement that they PROTECT any citizen.
