Can you please at least correct your terminology?

You are complaining about the horizontal (side-to-side) alignment of the characters, and yet you keep saying, “vertical alignment.” This is incorrect. If you are drawing lines up and down the page through the letters and observing that some do not fall on the lines, you are observing HORIZONTAL alignment problems.

You can be as snippy and as incorrect as you want, but at least use the correct language.

I am speaking of vertical alignment. The issue is that characters do not align with characters above and below them. The characters should be aligned vertically in columns. Whatever their position horizontally, they should be aligned with those above and below them.
