Funny. Ted Kennedy continued to keep himself in the public eye since he killed Mary Jo Kopechne. He even wrote a book about a dog named Splash.

I should add that the "horrible" Zimmerman was on the phone with the police during the encounter, and even cooperated with them afterward.

Kenned fled the scene to sober up, and only contacted the police a day later.
