Yesterday I think they said the whole event happened in and around the Zumiez store. The food court was right below, so when shots started being fired the people in the food court probably thought it was happening in the food court, even though it was upstairs. It would’ve been LOUD.

Most people are surprised how very loud gunshots are especially when indoors. In mall with so many hard surfaces it would be even louder.

Especially a long gun.

The shooting scene in the original “bullet” brings this out. Before shooting the guy in the hotel room with a shot gun, the shooter puts in ear plugs.
