Writing on her Patheos.com blog, Palin called out the Texas State Senator for greatly exaggerating her ‘success story’ and criticized liberals who are still supporting her:
I know you would rather think about Wendy Davis, so let’s get back to her. She’s more your type of woman. She left her kid, husband, made it into a false “made-for-tv-movie-type-tale” and then demanded that Texans have the right to kill babies. That’s the woman you libs can really get behind!
Let me be clear. I think it’d be so nice to have a husband take care of me, and my son, so I could attend school. (Any school — let alone, Harvard!)
But the way Wendy Davis did it – by getting married and leaving him as soon as the ink dried on his last check – is downright pathetic.
Palin, who was a teen mom herself, is right to expose Davis’ lies. In another “you go, girl!” moment, she mentioned her mom’s admirable story as an example that having and raising children while working is attainable:
Is everyone paying attention? This woman is the hero of the Left? A woman whose ambition and ego were so big she couldn’t have both a career and kids at the same time.
Gosh, children are sooo inconvenient, huh? I’m glad my mother didn’t put motherhood on the shelf when she was elected to City Council, then became our mayor, then Governor.
Sarah and Todd Palin raised a wonderful daughter.

The fact that she lies about her own life means she will lie about anything.

This post actually pains me. So Bristol would like to be going to a college? (And the Ivy League at that!)
Surely the Palins have the resources to support her going to school full-time, rather than working as an assistant in a dermatologist’s office.
A never-married, single mother criticizing a woman for getting divorced is a little bit awkward, too. How many men on FR complain about women getting automatic custody? Wendy Davis granted that her husband may have been in a better position to keep the kids—rather than have her take them from him as part of the divorce.
Bristol grew up with the privilege of being a governor’s daughter—and yet she didn’t handle her advantages particularly well. Davis got herself through law school and then made a name for herself, rather than living on her mother’s name.
I’m no fan of Wendy Davis, but much of the country can at least recognize her accomplishments—and wish the same for their daughters—more than they admire Bristol’s hanger-on fame.
I’m a fan of Sarah, but I wince at her daughters being put forth as models of accomplishment.
Gotta love these down to earth, honest Americans!

Yes, Wendy Davis has, fortunately, been thoroughly discredited by her dishonesty.
Bristol is a great kid..she has grown up before our eyes and has really blossomed..Bristol always finds a way to say it like it is, that is what I like about her..And she is right..Wendy Davis’s only claim to fame is that she loves baby murder..that’s it..she lied about EVERYTHING..a judge had to TELL HER to lay off the drugs and booze to be around her kids WOW what a woman, had to be TOLD to stay away from drugs now that is someone I can admire LOL
Isn’t it ironic how the left is always talking about how they don’t need a man to tell them what to do, isnt that what “Feminism” is all about..yet here you have a case where Wendy’s husband at the time paid for her schooling, then the second she finishes she dumps him..again, what a woman
