If a company is not selling enough widgets, it lays off some widget makers.

CNN lays off some news gatherers. Does this mean people have stopped buying what their selling?

I believe CNN and MSNBC are subsidized by the government. It happens through the monoply of the few cable companies. If Ford wants to advertise on TV, it buys time from Comcast. Comcast runs the commercials where it wants to run them. Thus, viewers of Fox help CNN. Do I need some tinfoil?
