Whatever may be conceded to the influence of refined education on minds of peculiar structure, reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.

So much we have failed to teach the next generation ... Have we doomed them? And, by 'we' I mean specifically those who suppose a moral and just society might be preserved even while excluding from public discourse all mention of God from Whom we derive the very definitions of morality and justice.

Americans have surrendered their children to the enemies of freedom and lovers of power, all while thinking that they were somehow providing them something of high value. The public school system is going to be the primary undoing of this great country.
