I recall an incident in my high school where the local delinquent was causing a ruckus.
The math teacher came into the hall and told him to shut it down or he would shut the student down.
The delinquent pulled a knife and went for the math teacher.
Little did he know, the math teacher was former special forces military.
The delinquent ended up on his back with a broken arm, the knife in the teachers hand, and the delinquent was dragged, literally, to the principals office and was never seen again on school property.
Ahhh, for the old days.
Back in the mid-70s, some kid broke stupid on a teacher in my HS and the teacher pounded him snotless.
The kid hit first and the teacher got *nothing* from it.
Kid got expelled.
Back then, you knew the consequences of your own miraculous stupidity.
