I was watching repeats in the 70's on WPIX.

Same (Channel 11, NY). My favorite was a 2 parter when Liberace's evil twin had Dynamic Duo in a player piano roll machine, about to punch holes into the Caped Crusaders.

At the last moment, Batman instructs Robin to sing some variation of the notes that Batman sings. When they come out alive, it turns out that Batman was able to get the machine to punch a perfect outline of their bodies. I don't think even Chuck Norris could do that!

Whenever I read 'Batman tv show', she is the first person I think of! Her performance as Catwoman left an indelible impression on the character. Comics, movies, whatever...there's some Julie Newmar in there.

I liked the series quite a lot as a kid. But when I’ve seen it in more recent years, I’ve found the reflexive, self-consciousness of it all to a bit grating and tiresome. That element was appealing and somewhat rare in its day, but as the whole culture has become so fully and horridly awash in that kind of thing, it’s made the old show a bit less palatable for me. I’d still probably be willing to pick up a 1st-season dvd-set, though, just for the heck of it.

Honestly, though, I’m probably more inclined to enjoy the two 1940s “Batman” movie series.

They poured Julie Newmar into that outfit.

Me...I liked Green Hornet with Bruce Lee kicking ass every week. Everyone started taking Kung Foo lessons after that.

A great party game is to do a round table of guests and ask them to name a '60s Batman Arch Villain. There are more than you'd think.

Another game in the same vein...name the title of a TV Police Show. Again....FAR more than you'd think. My wife and I played that one years ago and never finished over the space of 4 days.

Julie's Catwoman impressed me as the most...vulnerable of the three. She had a soft side that I think Bruce Wayne found very alluring. Sort of like Michelle Pfeiffer's protrayal a few years back.
Some of their scenes in this regard were very memorable.

Yahoo had a story about a 1994 Fantastic Four movie that was never released. It was made in a rush, in 21 days, and is apparently really campy.

That was 20 years ago and now someone is releasing a documentary video about it. lol
