News: nine fires burning in SoCal. Sheesh. This day was so deadly hot. 99 at the beach, no escape. No a/c either. We were taking some visitors for England to lunch and the restaurant I picked was on a street closed off by the police because of an arson fire. Ended up taking them to a local coffee shop. At least there was a/c.
I hope they can put the fires out soon--and find out who set them. Maybe burn something he/she cares about.
