Saw Kelly Pickler on Fox n Friends yesterday morning. They were talking about the show etc. Hosts said Fox would have less hours of American Idol next year. Cutting show times back. Averaging 7 million viewers each night now. 7 years ago they were having 20 to 30 million a night.

That's the average for every show now. Maybe more than average. Not that Idol hasn't fallen from what it once was, but there's a lot more to watch now--and a lot more ways to watch it--than just a few years ago.

Round #2: Judge's Choice.

They choose "Demons" by Imagine Dragons for Meat Loaf. Again, he sings fine. But he doesn't move around too much. Good song for him.

Keith: I'm so feeling for you man. You're doing such a great job of working through that. You killed that song. First time I noticed a Steve Perry vibe in your voice.

Jlo: You'll recover. You'll be fine. I have to say, it makes you as a performer rely on other things. You started singing the emotion in the song ... and you did it effortlessly.

Harry: In lieu of a critique ... I want to know what kind of record you would make.
