Wrapping up the Country round, and in the pimp spot, is Pinky with Dolly Parton's "Jolene". An electric version. Doesn't sound as mournful as the original. Don't know if that's good or bad. But she sounds great.

Didn’t like her Jolene. I didn’t think she felt it. This is a desperate woman in love with her man who is tempted by Jolene. You need to show that. Dolly poured her guts out in the song, and all Pinky does is sing, with a teeny smile sometimes thst says “I’m pretty dang good, aren’t i?” Which kills the song. She has great chops. But she doesn’t MEAN a word she says. Harry thought she did. He would be wrong. Compare it to Dolly.

What is this.... Suddenly Randy Jackson comes out in his pajamas holding Grumpy Cat.

Which I have learned is grumpy because of a feline dwarfism issue and you can’t buy a grumpy cat. Oh well.
