Back in the 1960s there was a carnival side show that had a “creature” encased in ice. You paid a fee to look at it and try to decide what it was.
I read an article about how the man shot this “creature”, dumped it in the freezer, filled it with water and claimed it was a real Bigfoot. He agreed to unfreeze it so scientists could do tests, then both he and the freezer disappeared before the unfreezing.

Years ago at the MN state fair (I suppose fairs all over too) they had a semi-trailer in which was supposed to be a frozen whale. You paid a buck to go in and see it.
Their spiel was “If this isn’t a real whale we will give you this truck!”
The whale was called Little [something]. Little debbie?
