My little Lucy is a spinner, and for all of her nine years refused to go into the rain to do her business unless I went into the yard in the rain and called her off the porch.
I got her a (stylish and cute) raincoat and now she zips out into the yard in the rain, no problem!

One of our 4 dogs is a hound dog, a Black Mouth Cur. If she had stayed with her birth family she would have lived in a barn, eaten what she could catch and gathered cattle for her owner.
Instead she has 2 beds, one in the den and one in our bedroom. She weighs 80 pounds instead of about 40 pounds like her working family. Gets too much food.
She can’t stand to get her feet wet and she poops on the back porch when the grass is wet, it doesn’t even have to be raining. She is a sweet sweet girl and she loves me dearly, I feel the same about her.
Do I know how to spoil a dog? :)
