It’ll happen.
Unless they have steam boilers to allow the ship to melt free and rise, it will get crushed.
Shape and construction of the hull is also a factor. Some hull shapes are pushed more ‘up’ than ‘in’ by ice pressure, but most hull shapes don’t. The ice would beat this one given enough time. Chopper rescue may also be a problem. After all they are stuck just offshore from Mawson’s old base camp. The windiest place on the planet. Where winds averaged 50mph over a whole year and reached 200mph. Oddly Mawson’s expedition brought the first ever airplane to Antarctica. They never were able to get it aloft but did use it some to pull sleds.
