A rescue mission for a ship trapped in ice in Antarctica is under threat as reports have emerged that one of the assisting vessels may itself be stuck.
Fifty-two passengers and four crew members were due to be evacuated by helicopter from China's Xue Long ship as soon as conditions allowed.
However, the Xue Long has barely moved in a day and may be stuck in the ice.

Don’t worry, they’re probably getting mine too. (Canadian).
They should be publicly shamed and fired from all these activities forevermore.

it was old to me by 2005. I had this argument out with our current best friends. They’re no longer my friends, I can’t be friends with stupid.

And God moved upon the face of the ice and a ship full of global warming hoaxters disappeared from the face of the Earth, and God saw that it was good. Just maybe.

Why do the Chinese have icebreakers? A) The area around Dalian (?) just might freeze over. Don't know.
B) Good to be prepared when they finally move on Siberia, and China extends its borders to the arctic. Don't laugh, I'm sure they're planning it.

They have ice breakers to service their Antarctic research bases.

Personally, I’d like to see all the passengers rescued by Helicopter.
And as the last group lifts off, they can look back as the ship is crushed and broken into pieces.
