Does anyone else find the Michael Bolton Honda commercials as annoying as I do? When they come on, I either mute the TV or change the channel. If I were in the narket for a new car, Honda is the last place I'd go thanks to those commercials.
There have been a massive glut of commercials recently that left me saying, “I will NOT patronize you BECAUSE of that commercial.” Most of them are just outright annoying. The Bolton one strikes me as an attempt to make him relevant. Perhaps he has an album dropping soon or did so recently?
I find Michael Bolton annoying. Period.
Can’t stand him. The commercials seem like an endless shill for a new album or something.
That makes two of us. I never could stand this guy.
I think someone told advertisers that the more annoying the commercial, the longer people remember them. It must be so, because there are a lot of annoying commercials, although one of the most annoying seems to be popular with the ladies - the boxer shorts with the bells.
I never liked Michael Bolton. He can’t sing, he whines, which is annoying.
Sometimes I hope my cable company is monitoring my channel viewing in real time. When a commercial like that comes on I immediately flip to another channel.

I’m with you on not buying products because of the ads, the worst are the radio ads. This one doesn’t bother me as it is not one of those that seems to be trying to insult my IQ. Of the car ads the Toyota ones fit that bill.
I like the AT&T commercials with the guy interviewing the little kids. It’s not an original concept, but it’s executed very well.
The truly unbearable ads are the gov't PSAs that run in place of commercial ads on streaming radio.
Please bombard me with patronizing ads paid for with my own tax dollars!
Honda makes great first class cars. Period. That is why you buy one, because you do not want to get ripped off by any other machine masquerading as a car.
I rarely watch anything in real time..I record everything..then I can fast forward through all the commercials, and credits..watch an hour’s show in about 40 minutes that way..
We actually saw him last summer and his show was fantastic...

I don’t generally have a problem with his music, but it’s not something I go out of my way to listen to. He’s got an amazing voice.

They are annoying, that is true.
Right up there with the baby and the ‘Love is strange’ insurance commercial. I mute that sucker every time now.
