why don't sensible people...like me...ever win these things?....I'm mean, I would be so good with my money....

We’re all tied up in a web of relationships with family and friends. Those people are partly to blame for what happens. They do their part to damage the relationship. The money rips those spider web threads and throws people onto a turbulent sea. Lost, they’re helpless. Suddenly they’re the most attractive people in the world. Gorgeous people who previously wouldn’t have noticed them are suddenly fawning over them.
Frankly, if a close friend or relative won the lottery I’d fell sad for the loss of relationship.
because sensible people don’t volunteer to pay extra taxes (um... I mean play the lottery)
