Anyone else hear about this?

“another possible onslaught of dangerous atmospheric radiation”
another one? When was the first
not sure if this is real, it is big on the conspiracy pages, looking for a valid source
Hope it’s not true.
A link to occupycorporatism.com?!?
Are you shitting me?
Saw a report that US Sailors who responded to the initial disaster in Fukushima now are having very high rates of cancer....
I also recieved this video of the plant this morning;

I’d be worried but the report is from some site called occupycorporatism.com so I take what they say with a truck load of salt. They’re also proud members of the The Real Guerrilla Media, whatever that is.
Not to minimize the danger but these sites live for fear mongering.
Any photos of the Obamas in the ocean on their vacation?
It would be interesting to test the ‘meltdown’ theory
A sustained nuclear reaction occurs when so much nuclear material is in close contact with more of itself, that it acheives ‘critical mass’- essentially a lump of material so big it heats itself up to the melting point.
If you cram it together suddenly you would have a nuclear bomb.
An actual meltdown could ooze through so many tiny cracks and crevices that eventually the critical mass would be seperated and it would stop
(my theory)

checked news, the message board for the stock, nothing.

thats their website.
There appears to have been reports of some activity since Nov 2nd or before. Steam emission increased in past few days off and on.
Yes, there is something to this. However, it appears “the Looney Left” is at the forefront of the reporting.
Tepco (translation), Dec. 27, 2013: At around 7:00 am on December 27, and confirmed by the camera that from Unit 3 reactor building, 5th floor near the center, steam is generated. Have not been identified abnormal plant conditions of 54 minutes at 7:00 am the same day, the indicated value of the monitoring post (meteorological data of 50 minutes at 7:00 am, 5.1 ℃ temperature, 93.1% humidity).
Tepco (translation), Dec. 25, 2013: At around 7:00 am on December 25, and confirmed by the camera that from Unit 3 reactor building, 5th floor near the center, steam is generated. Have not been identified abnormal plant conditions of 8:00 am the same day time, the indicated value of the monitoring post (meteorological data of 50 minutes at 7:00 am, 2.8 ℃ temperature, 76.7% humidity).
Tepco (translation), Dec. 24, 2013: At around 7:00 am on December 19, and confirmed by the camera that from Unit 3 reactor building, 5th floor near the center, steam is generated. Have not been identified abnormal plant conditions of 55 minutes at 7:00 am the same day, the indicated value of the monitoring post (meteorological data of 40 minutes at 7:00 am, 5.6 ℃ temperature, 93.7% humidity). Then, in 58 minutes around 7:00 am December 24, steam is no longer observed. It should be noted, have not been identified abnormal plant conditions in a 3-minute time at 8:00 am the same day, the indicated value monitoring posts, etc. (meteorological data of 50 minutes at 7:00 am, 4.1 ℃ temperature, 74.9% humidity).

Will this threaten the US before or after the remains of Ison hit?
This is the most under-reported story of the year, and it contains the potential for more damage than anyone is considering possible.
Massive radioactivity in the air, in the ground, and in the ocean, the currents for which come straight to the US and Canadian West Coast.
They are dumping contaminated radioactive water into the ocean by the ton.
I think those old Japanese monster movies will be coming out of mothballs soon.
An our American press is not even interested. Does it not make all of those environmentalist types even wonder as much as they do about global warming? How about global glowing?
While the Fukushima sites represent a valid concern for the local population, they hardly represent a danger to “the entire Northern Hemisphere”
All of the following should be considered warnings of an inaccurate article:
- Global disaster
- Use of terms of uncertainty (possible, maybe, etc)
- Non-standard source
I expect more from Freepers.
