Since our daughter and son in law are going to his parents house this year, we won’t be having our presents and stockings until the weekend so I have a few more days.... Went out yesterday and it was awful - the traffic was nuts!

yes, we are similarly situated. We will pretty much postpone our normal Christmas eve celebration until Saturday, when they get back. we are actually going out for Christmas brunch at the Ritz Carlton after Mass tomorrow. They left this AM. The only time to go out today is at the crack o dawn when i went. Later today will be insanity. I will do xsfiancee’s stocking later this week.
we have joked about going out for chinese food and a movie this evening, since that’s what all of our Jewish friends do on Christmas eve/day!
