Mayor Annise Parker's controversial settlement relaxing physical contact rules at 16 local topless clubs appears to have triggered an escalation in hostilities between those who operate and patronize strip joints and those who'd like to see them shut down.
"Those that are forking out the money to fund this industry, what they call the 'Johns' , we are looking at every possible way we can start going out and exposing who they are. It's just time," said Rev. Dave Welch, leader of the Houston Area Pastor Council.

For the record I feel this is wrong on the part of the pastors, it will only turn the "johns" against them. If they really want to shut those places down then reach out to and help the women who dance there. They are the real victims.

Someone should publish the license plate #’s of the pastors visiting the topless joint.

Bad move by the preacher. The patrons are behaving in a perfectly legal manner and are not public figures, and given that the reason for publication of license plates is to damage their reputations, a slander lawsuit would have a pretty decent chance of succeeding, though actual monetary damages might be hard to prove.
Don’t get me started. For one did you know that most women, about 99.% of women who work in the porn industry have been sexually abused/raped sometime in their life? Over half have some type of drug/alcohol problem. Some of these women are forced to do this by a man I kid you not. Pray for them they are in such hell.
They would just say they are there to “investigate” and find out who is sinning, and did not look at the topless girls.
I agree that this is more about getting the girls to find a less degrading job than it is about the leering men.

Many years ago, when I worked in a small and very Conservative town in Ga someone thought they liven things up a little and opened a topless bar. It was a huge scandal and members of the local churches would hang out in the parking lot to see who would go in. They would also report the patrons to the HR departments of the major employers in the area. Back then most managers, supervisors and leads had to sign personal conduct clauses, a DUI could get you fired... I don’t think the topless bar lasted 3 months.....
I’ve known a couple of girls who became strippers.
One became a heroin addict and prostitute. The found her body in the ditch where it was dumped after an overdose.
Another had 3 kids while incarcerated. It was the only way to prevent her from killing unborn babies with crack.
I used to do field support and twice a year we had trade shows at all the major convention cities. Places like Vegas, New Orleans, Orlando, San Diego, Atlanta, SFO/Oakland, etc..... Boston used to have a district called the "Combat Zone", which had to be the most bizarre collection of misfits I've ever seen.
I knew a stripper once too. She told me that on Sunday night and Wednesday night they were dead until after 9pm. She told me “that is when church lets out and the men put the kids to bed and tell the wife they are going out to see their cousin/brother/whatever then they come here”
I believe her. I just don’t believe what this pastor is trying will work but a good sermon on the ills of porn might, and how to treat women might.
A similar place tried to start up in a county adjacent to me. But it kept getting mysteriously torched. It barely lasted a few weeks, as I recall. No other such business has tried to plant itself in the county ever since.
Vigilanteism works. And it has a long established history in America.

Porn and strippers become very dull and boring. Sometimes you just have to let people discover that. It doesn’t take long.
Houston’s nasty lesbian mayor no doubt wants all the touching she can get. When that sinful city gets leveled, no one should blame God.
