I don't have TV so I only know what I've read on FR. FReepers are usually very accurate. I've seen that they believe them to be real people and not phony Hollywood types.

I have also read on FR that the Robertsons have complained that A&E “bleeps” words to make it seem like they are cursing when they are not. Other complaints were editing out as much Christian content as possible. Whether one believes the claims depends upon whether you think the left is honest. I tend to give credence to the Robertsons complaints based on FReeper opinion.
