Imagine a boycott of Monday Night Football.

The Bear Cowboys game was the most watched this season, with 16.2 million viewers.

I imagine there are a lot of DD watchers and now Phil Robertson supporters, who regularly watch MNF.

It looks like MNF averages 14 million a week. A boycott might drop that 2 million.

I'd love to, but such a thing is about as likely as America electing a write-in candidate for President.

I know many people who can quote sports stats going back for years, but they couldn't name the Justices of the Supreme Court to save their lives. Hell, most of them don't even know their own Congressmen.

Disney Corp is making record profits in just about every area of their business. Movies, tv, theme parks, even their cruise line is making money. Losing DD wouldn't even put a nick in their bottom line. They also have a history of being LGBT friendly and it wouldn't surprise me a bit if they let DD go just to keep them happy. A&E may need DD but Disney doesn't.
