Heard some time back that prior to it landing on A&E, Willie had had a few spots on the sports/hunting channels and was pushing DD. Makes me think Robertsons own DD.
We’ll see pretty soon as this looks to be coming to a head.
The ownership of rights to TV shows can be complicated business. I’ve no idea what the sitaution is here, but I do know these things can be a bit convoluted. I would think that if A and E cancels, then they would lose rights based on that…and yet they probably retain rights to re runs and syndication.
At this point, the Robertsons are so big they’ll be fine either way….
