The first time I saw a big male barn cat take out two German Shepards that had him cornered, I knew.

“The first time I saw a big male barn cat take out two German Shepards that had him cornered, I knew.”
We had one of those — half city alley cat, half purebred black and white. It would scour a dog from head to tail before the dog could move. One time a terrified rottweiler mongrel ran past me yipping like its balls were on fire, the cat jumped off as the dog passed. Cat, as we called him, was as calm as a cat could be. He looked up at me with his tail waving calmly, meowed once, purred and rubbed my leg a couple times, and walked off. Ho-hum.
