Ah, but you guys are cutting Megyn too much slack…she was not attempting to let Newt shine…that is not what these media types do in debates. They are all looking to make themselves look good by stumping the candidates.

Very true. But she is a lawyer and she was speaking from a lawyer's perspective, probably egged on by lawyer friends before the debate. Newt showed how a historian's perspective on the issue was infinitely superior. I think deep down, following his smack down, she knew he was right.
