MSNBC weekend host Melissa Harris-Perry has a tendency to wax sanctimonious when the camera light goes on and she takes to the air. So it's our pleasure to note her utter hypocrisy when it comes to how to describe the president's signature legislative accomplishment, the ObamaCare health care overhaul.
On her December 8 program, Perry had the audacity to claim that the use of the term "ObamaCare" was "a derogatory term... conceived up by a group of wealthy white men who needed a way to put themselves above and apart from a black man."
During her opening rant, Perry doubled down on the so-called "controversial word" arguing that ObamaCare was "meant to shame and divide and demean" a way of making President Obama feel "inferior and unequal and to diminish his accomplishments."
The segment wouldn't have been so offensive if not for the hilarious irony of the situation. While on December 8 Ms. Perry was lecturing Americans on the "derogatory" word ObamaCare, just two weeks earlier she herself used the word to refer to the Affordable Care Act (ACA) in a discussion with Ron Christie

LoL!
Sad part is she spoda be a college professor..kinda tells ya why we are headed in the direction we are ...or is that we be
Since the program is not working, calling it _____Care when it really doesn’t work is prejudicial.
To be race neutral it has to be ObamaCide because the death panels do work.
LoL - I used to have a TV with a remote that would freeze the picture. I never appreciated how great that was till I got rid of it.
Absolutely right! The more attention she gets, the more delighted are the morons at MSNBC. If her comments are ignored she’ll eventually go the way of Oberman (sp.?). (Do you think she could do sports analysis at ESPN? I’m sure she can read a teleprompter.)
Oh Melissa, you poor deluded person. Obama IS inferior and unequal to any other president, and his "accomplishments" are as 'make believe' as his college records or his life story.
Any half-competent junior manager would have done a better job of introducing his "signature" piece of legislation. The fact that he did absolutely nothing to make sure that things were up and running properly in the months before the launch are just further proof of his incompetence for a position of such responsibility.
What else could we possibly call it? The "Affordable Care Act" certainly doesn't describe it. "Obamacare" does, and it will be what it is called long after Obama is out of office and seeking asylum in Russia.
PAY ATTENTION, FOLKS: This is the next narrative you will hear the liberals attempt to build up in an effort to distract from President Disasterboy.
Je$$e Jacka$$ tried to float an “Apartheid in the US” bullcrap theme this week as well.
If it’s dismissed as absurd (it is) and not cut at the knees, this mantra will grow wings and turn into another version of the completely fabricated “War on Women” distracto-crap.
This is classic information operations. The military conducts this effort at all levels in SW Asia.
The RNC doesn’t have the dexterity to ID and isolate information crap missles like this to grind the narrative and the narrator into the ground.
Bashir has been the exception to this not the rule. (He went WAY out of tolerance to the point that A-MessNBC couldn’t recover.)
RLTW
MSNBC knuckle heads have been trying to foment a race war for some time now.
It’s a very good thing that none of them have any real power.
Obama said in a recent speech that he’s proud that it’s called ‘Obamacare’.
It’ll be fun to watch when they start trying to blame the entire Obamacare disaster on Republicans.

exactly my point.
Harris-Perry is a liberal and therefore totally lacking in a soul or conscious. Like her hero Ohomo she will never admit to being wrong because it’s inconceivable that she could BE wrong.
