Rode in an Ercoupe once. They has cantering gear. You just dropped it on the runway crabbed and the gear pivoted.

Rode in an Ercoupe once. The original Ercoupes had no independent rudder control so they could be difficult in crosswinds. One guy said you just land it crooked and then let go of the wheel.
Ercoupes had coordinated ailerons and rudders. Macy's sold them and advertised them as being as easy to fly as driving a car.
