Since I have zero artistic talent, I probably should not criticize anyone who does.........(but if I don’t care for something, I turn it off.)

I’m not saying this was a bad performance, and of course since it was a stage show that was filmed live, this is like comparing apples and oranges.

My comment simply meant that of the 2, I loved the movie with Julie Andrews—this one did not appeal to me so much.

But, hey—that’s why my TV comes equipped with an off button—right?

It was entertaining and filled an hour. Live performance means what you hear is what you get. Just wished the instrumentals had been toned down so we could hear the full volume of singing.

Not really fair to compare it with the movie version and Julie Andrews, even though we were both spring loaded to do that.
