Geminids have nothing to do with Ison.
They come from 3200 Phaethon.
And their peak times are rather predictable.
And that Arizona fireball was a geminid.
Which is pretty typically seen this time of year.
And this Geminid shower had quite a few fireballs.
They’re from 3200 phaethon’s 2009 perihelion and shedding.
