LOL, it’s a cone of spreading material, okay? You say It’s not going to spread out 41 million miles, fine. I’m just saying who knows? Where is there some sort of model to Shoemaker-Levy 9? That it broke up? So what? Does everything in the universe break up in the same way? What rot.

Like I said, we’ll see how wide the cone spreads by what happens when it gets to our neighborhood. If NASA doesn’t manage to screw up the cameras again, and if it decides to release the actual data, we might see some photos. Otherwise, we won’t know squat unless it somehow puts a show on.

But to insult my intelligence because you don’t think the sun can expand debris it turned to rubble in the first place? After denying the mechanism of the Roche limit and the four camera screwup at perhihelion? LOL, whatever.

No, the point of fact is that your point relies on energy imparted into the debris to do that spreading that is not there.
