That scene is some of the greatest writing on a TV series ever because it just shoves it in the face of all the hacks who keep writing that same scene that is the opposite. You know where the Bad guy makes his "I'll hunt you down wherever etc." and the Good guy lets him go!

When I saw it I knew the rest of the series would be exceptional in the writing department and it was every time!
