Don’t forget “Land of the Giants” and “The New People”, although, technically “The New People”was not a sci fi plot line.

Eurek was good, but it was starting to wear thin especially the time travel plot line.

Yes, that seems to be the shark a lot of shows jump these days. Enterprise, Eureka, Fringe. I liked Fringe but I got confused with multiple Walters, Astrids and Olivias.

I only saw the first season on Netflix. That’s a shame about the second.

Enterprise had a tendency to drag on storylines long past when it should have found a new concept. The ending also left a horrible taste in my mouth.

S:AAB seemed to want to become Space 90210, although it could have been so much better Perhaps, but the "Stay With the Dead" episode may be one of the best single hours of TV Sci-Fi ever.

Stargate Universe sucked due to it focusing on being a soap opera with political issues crammed into the script. Exactly. SGU wasn't Stargate.

It could have been so much more, it could have been a great show.
The story premise was interesting.
The execution was “fumbling drunken fratboy trying to remove a bra from a mechanical bull”.

I enjoyed Jericho a lot, but how exactly was it science fiction?

I don’t know that it would have been great, Dark. SG-1, for me, is the standard against which everything else should be judged. The continuity and canon in that series was absolutely immaculate.
Though your concept execution makes me smile :)

‘Star Trek: Enterprise’ totally sucked in my book. They took the perfect prequel concept and totally fracked it up. The beauty of it SHOULD have been the first contacts, the wonder, the unknown, the discoveries, on and on...all gift wrapped with a loyal and hungry audience. And they wasted it. Meeting new species held all the wonder of discovering last week’s ham sandwich in the frig. It became more like space cops and robbers.
Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Firefly got the short end of the stick from the get go.
Outcasts, Primeval, and Terra Nova all had a lot left AFAIC.
Space Above and Beyond was great too.
