He had nothing to say because there's nothing to say. Your statement is gospel truth. Settled science. Wings (and all of Sir Paul's solo works) royally sucked.
I'll always have a small place in my heart for Yoko, commie that she is. At least she recognized Paul for the rank simpleton that he was.
Can you stand there (or sit there) as a card carrying baby Boomer and tell me “No, you DID NOT like the album RAM with Uncle Albert”, What about the instrumental introduction to “Band On The Run” listen to it again, closely, then tell us what you meant to say. By the way, I’m joking with you. I happened to like many of his solo pieces, not all. I understand many of his songs then were way too sugary and sweet for extended consumption. I know. Exhibit A. Silly Love Songs”, Ebony and Ivory ;shamelessly saccharine!
I think Yoko enjoys her notoriety, the power it still gives her over people of a certain age. Maybe she has another Art Showing like last year, when she had mounds of dirt available for your viewing pleasure, for a nominal fee of course.
I am no fan of McCartney, a few of his tracks over his solo years are pretty good (Maybe I’m Amazed comes to mind), but Ringo the best solo material. Please.
The Traveling Wilburys are, IMHO, hands down, the best material any of the Beatles put together post break up.
