If my comments offend you I wonder why you keep returning. Oh well...

I’ve said more than once that Lenr anomaly should be explored so I’m against Lenr or the study of it. And this being a open forum I feel free to express my deep (and I would say entirely justified) skepticism about Lenr or some form of it changing the world by providing endless and cheap energy. Fission was supposed to that too, remember?

Sure hypotheticals can be answered with hypotheticals...life is full of contingencies. 14,700 replications and how many failures? A million? Ten million? Does anyone care or know?

Gravity need not be understood at all so long as it operates consistently enough for a person to make predictions from observations of it in action and use it.

Hound? No one can hound anyone or anything off FR by design. Personal insult and abuse is not allowed and if you wish you can have a protected thread I assume.
And you’re always free not to reply, right?

***Where did I say your comments offended me on this thread?

I’ve said more than once that Lenr anomaly should be explored so I’m against Lenr or the study of it.
***Presuming what you wrote was a typo... Then why do you consider it on the same level as “snake oil”? You wouldn’t be proposing that we study snake oil for its benefits , so this brings up your simple hypocrisy.

And this being a open forum I feel free to express my deep (and I would say entirely justified) skepticism about Lenr or some form of it changing the world by providing endless and cheap energy.
***Perhaps if you examined the science behind the claims you wouldn’t have such deep nor even justified skepticism.

Fission was supposed to that too, remember?
***Then let us examine the differences, why fission didn’t/couldn’t/wouldn’t/can’t provide the cheap energy needed to solve the energy crisis. Instead, you just hand wave over it as if it were a usable analogy, thus generating a classic fallacy of false analogy.

14,700 replications and how many failures? A million? Ten million? Does anyone care or know?
***It does not matter. Dolly the Sheep was cloned, and there was hundreds of thousands of failures. It only takes ONE replication to prove the existence of the science, but skeptopaths require more than 15,000 replications of LENR. Why? Because they’re freeping lazy intellectual bandwagon jumpers. Otherwise they’d be diving into the science behind the claims. It is telling that they do not.

Gravity need not be understood at all so long as it operates consistently enough for a person to make predictions from observations of it in action and use it.
***So it’s not a requirement that we understand gravity in order to use it. Similarly, high temperature superconductivity (another condensed matter anomaly) is not understood but there’s no clamoring to remove it from FR. But LENR, the skeptopaths want removed from FR because it’s not understood. Hypocrisy.

Hound? No one can hound anyone or anything off FR by design.
***Asked & Answered WW calls it vigilante censorship

***Nope.

And you’re always free not to reply, right?
***And you’re always free to skip LENR threads, or to (heaven forbid) actually EXAMINE the evidence.
