We might go to the Monroe Walmart later, see if there’s anything good in the clearance meat case. Sometimes they have 97% lean ground beef at half-off. And I need a new slip that’s not held up with safety pins.
Finding sales on meats is a very good thing! Once in a while, one of the local stores will offer selected meats at “buy one, get two free,” and if I have the money, I take advantage of it. The money and the meat sales don’t always mesh, but I try. Especially since I’m such a carnivore!
I’ve done the safety pin thingy. It was then that I decided to throw the safety pins away. That way, I would be forced to either mend what I had or buy new. But that’s just me.
