The days are getting longer!
OH, YES!!! Longer days mean the heat can’t be TOO far behind...
Las Vegas, of course, is expecting about 350,000 revelers for the New Year Celebration, and the cross streets on the Strip will be closed to vehicular traffic as of 1700 hours until 0600 tomorrow morning.
They are figuring about eight minutes of pyrotechnics at Midnight, from the tops of some of the major casino-hotels. The city starts planning this shindig from January 1!
(Aside:) As of Friday, (payday) I’m stocking up on incandescent bulbs...
