Sleeping 12 hours can be good. It’s still the Christmas season, so there’s no need to have everything put away. After the first couple of days in which Kathleen was immoderately interested in the tree, I’ve been enjoying it.
Anoreth and her pets have hit the road, taking Piper’s stuffed dragon but leaving behind a pair of jeans and a sock with a hole in it. I’ll mail her the jeans and a package of new socks, eventually. I haven’t looked yet to see if she took the gecko.

I’ve forgotten about the debris that is inevitably surrendered by departing offspring. I’ve always wondered how much of what is left is deliberate or just part of being an airhead.
It’s been so hard for me to breathe since the heart attack that I have been using an inhaler, which is more in the line of “rescue” than maintenance. So this is good.
