We’ve lost a few glass ornaments to cats (and babies) over the years. We have plastic balls at the bottom now, and ornaments the kids have made in preschool or Sunday School.

We made the transition back to regular ornaments when the kittens matured and stopped climbing the
tree. We have a nice fake tree, and keep the ornaments above the bottom branches just in case, but the
cats almost never play with them anymore.

Good idea about the plastic ornaments.

They’re just as pretty, and you can’t tell the difference unless they fall off and bounce across the floor.
