I think people are over analyzing this. Being feared and intimidating others is basic to the gangster life. The Mafia and the Irish gangs can be examples mostly from the past. With the blacks, racial resentment and hatred means they attack whites in addition to killing each other daily. As my wife would say, “The want a big face”.

(That would hardly constitute "OVERanalysis" if basic facts/trends are being ignored).

So is that simply "PC journalism" -- that race is irrelevant to journalists & editors?

And broadening this, is reporting the race of the perp vital with EVERY media crime report? [And given that such venues hardly cover even 10% of local crime in suburban/urban areas, can't the MSM be accused of censoring crime period -- along with its details?]

Sure, racial hatred is central to the black on white crime and the media is dishonest (so is Police Commissioner Kelly in NYC). Status with their fellow gangbangers and fear in the eyes of whites all combine with racial resentment and hatred. The knockout game will bite the media when it accelerates as I think it will.
