I have no idea if this is so, at least the Time Life part should be something that could be corraborated.

There were a lot of unexplained deaths in the decade after the assassination and people close to the scene clammed up. We are now in the time period where would-be witnesses are no longer afraid and may want to tell what they know.

My prediction is there are more shocking revelations to come.
