Liz: what’s your Thanksgiving menu?
By the way, if I don’t write to you again, Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. You’re one of my favorite freepers!
Not cooking this year——most popular past years menu included:
French potato tart (sliced spuds w/ sour cream and cheese layers) in a fluted gratin dish,
my famous broccoli in three-cheeses sauce,
sliced mushrooms in sherry cream sauce,
buttered brussels sprouts w/ roasted chestnuts,
roasted sliced sweet potatoes (I detest marshmallows),
jellied cranberry stars,
sausage/bread-stuffed turkey garnished w/ sugar-glazed bunches of grapes.
