42

Favorites: When Worlds Collide, RoboCop, Total Recall, Terminator and T2, Silent Running (Yeah, I know...but I still liked it), Planet of the Apes, Matrix, Forbidden Planet, Alien and Aliens, Alien Nation

If any of the above come on TV, I’ll stop and watch them.

I’ve seen 48 of the 50. But then I’ve been a Sci-Fi freak from an early age.

Only 14 for me. It wasn’t much of a list (no LEXX, for instance), and I generally refuse to see a movie, SF or not, if I have read the book. Those pictures almost never match the ones I make in my head while reading the story.

Wow. Some real clinkers. And missing some gems. The majority are “ok”.

STTMP is arguably the WORST ST. Where is Kahn, Star Trek and ST into Darkness? ST 3, 4, 6 and First Contact are much better that STTMP.

Back To The Future was a silly comedy with a SciFi premise. So why not Armageddon?

I could go one but iPhone thumb typing bites. Let me end this by saying I will NEVER watch the unAmerican Avatar (dances with smurfs? Pocahontas 2?)

I'm not worthy; I've only seen thirteen.

As mitigating circumstances, I've seen 76 different Humphrey Bogart movies at least once (and Casablanca more than 75 times).

My three must-see picks are the original The Thing and Alien and 2001: A Space Odyssey.

My score was 47, but I’ve seen 3 different versions of Invasion of the Body Snatchers, 2 different Rollerballs and War of the Worlds. Do I get extra credit?

There’s not one cheezy 1960’s Japanese SciFi movie on the list.

Godzilla, Rodan, Mothra, Gamera, and others are deeply saddened.

37. I thought Oblivion should be in the top 50. Some of those movies I’ve never heard of.
