I must have missed a trend. I have never had a cat that I didn’t let outside and the thought of keeping a cat inside strikes me as strange.

Cats are natural predators and belong outdoors and love to stalk and hunt. But the hazards of outdoor life are such that they don't often last long. Everything from cars to coyotes.

Sharing my home with animals doesn’t appeal to me. We always had cats OUTDOORS - kept the mice from coming INDOORS. I can, however, understand not letting a cat outdoors if you live in the city.

Me,too. Our cat climbs the walls when she can’t go outside. It’s too cold here this morning; and she’s been cutting a fit to get outside. - She’s a hunter, a rip snorting little tree climber. She will answer to no name but “Brutus”. This is our reality.
