I listened to Jason Lewis (radio host) tonight, he mentioned he’d read the Bugliosi Posner books so that is one point of view:

But he and others say the stuff that is so keyed in on, that JFK would not have gone into Vietnam is according to him, far from the truth. He was saying JFK got us into Vietnam.

So this is an issue to research, a lot of places, it seems almost to be an assumption that JFK would not have gone into Vietnam as LBJ did.

The truth is that President Eisenhower originally got us into Vietnam. JFK was merely following-up on Eisenhower’s policy.
