I think it is an oryx. Oryx is a type of antelope. I have seen them at the zoo. Most oryx species are found in Africa or near the middle east.
Oryx thrive at Ft Bliss, Donna Anna range and White Sands missile range. It fits their grazing environment and no predators. They are not afraid of humans either.
